Description
Summary: The Material Handler handles, moves and stores various parts and component materials within the assembly area. Their main duties include tracking and collecting various parts to supply the assembly lines as required by the assembly build schedule each day.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Supplying the assembly lines with the required parts/materials for daily assemblies
- Organizing and keeping a well-maintained and updated account of stock and inventory
- Restocking parts/materials inventory
- Keeping all material handling equipment in the best condition by conducting regular maintenance checks
- Collaborating with internal departments to locate missing parts
- Track missing parts and low inventory parts
