About this role and responsibilities:
We are an Automation Controls company founded in 1967 and operating from Bettendorf, Iowa. We design and manufacture all our products in USA. We are seeking Inside Sales Application Engineers for automation controls to join our dynamic sales team. You’ll be helping customer’s engineers in selecting the right products from us for their applications and closing sales. Time efficiency is required. Some cold calling is needed. This is a Base salary plus commission’s job. There is no upper limit on commissions. You can make north of 100K/year in this job.
Qualifications:
· Two year trade school education minimum.
· Good understanding of PLC and HMIs. Programming experience preferred.
· Plant electrician or control engineer experience preferred.
· Ability to select the right product among hundreds for specific customers.
· Good communication skills.
· Extra-ordinary abilities to develop relationships, to overcome objections and close sales.
