Primary Responsibilities
Banking Relationships & Liquidity Management:
- Manage and develop relationships with the company’s banking partners to ensure efficient cash management and favorable terms.
- Oversee the daily cash positioning and forecasting to maintain optimal liquidity levels across multiple accounts and entities.
- Monitor cash flow and recommend strategies to enhance working capital and minimize idle cash balances.
- Negotiate banking fees and services, ensuring cost-effective and efficient banking solutions.
- Ensure the timely and accurate movement of funds between bank accounts to support daily operations and meet financial obligations.
- Establish and maintain cash management policies and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Oversee cash concentration and disbursement processes, including managing the company’s payment systems.
- Oversee recording of daily cash activities.
- Implement and monitor cash controls to mitigate financial risks, including fraud, errors, and regulatory non-compliance.
- Support the company’s debt strategy, including sourcing and negotiating debt financing (e.g., lines of credit, term loans, bonds).
- Manage the company’s debt portfolio, ensuring compliance with covenants, maintaining accurate reporting, and optimizing the cost of debt.
- Assist in managing the issuance, refinancing, or restructuring of debt instruments as needed to support business operations and expansion.
- Work with external advisors, legal, and finance teams to evaluate financing options and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
- Provide regular cash flow projections, liquidity reports, and treasury-related financial metrics to senior management.
- Analyze and report on the company’s cash positions, debt levels, and risk exposures.
- Monitor and manage financial risks associated with cash management, banking, debt, and interest rates.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to treasury functions.
- Work with internal and external auditors to support audits of treasury operations and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Continuously evaluate and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs in treasury operations.
- Lead or participate in special projects related to treasury, including system upgrades, policy revisions, and capital structure analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field a plus.
- 7 years related experience including prior management experience.
- Experience in the telecommunications or FTTH industry is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, NetSuite preferred.
- Ability to manage workload to meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
