Regional Vice-President of Construction
Ezee Fiber is seeking a Regional Vice President of Construction with relevant fiber optic construction, networking, and project management experience. In this role, you will assist the Project Management team with tracking, reporting, and key metrics to deliver hundreds of concurrent projects. Your ability to manage multiple teams across a vast build area will help you shine in this role.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regional strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Deliver telecommunications-based projects in construction, dark fiber, lit transport, Internet service, and fiber to the home from creation to final delivery.
- Ensure construction management teams are executing according to planned project timelines.
- Create regional reports and report out to the senior leadership team.
- Identify and address potential risks or challenges within the region.
- Schedule project deliverables with cross-functional teams and customers.
- Collaborate with others to create/streamline new/existing process to achieve efficient performance with internal and external partners.
- Work with cross-functional teams to retrieve updates and track projects and status.
- Maintain data integrity and ensure all project documentation is appropriately updated in data repositories.
- Learn and develop an understanding of all systems, tools, and processes (i.e., reporting, capacity, and ticketing tools, etc.) that support the workflow of projects. Suggest improvements.
- Ensure that all projects are correctly invoiced.
- Ensure projects are delivered on budget.
- Travel within the regional markets to support construction practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred but not required,
- At least ten years leading teams, with five years leading others at lower management levels.
- Minimum fifteen years combined experience in a OSP Construction, fiber network deployment, and project management.
- Five years’ experience with GIS system usage is preferred.
- Five years’ experience with MS Office products preferred
- Experience with an enterprise project management software platform such as Microsoft Project.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, since the Regional Vice President of Construction may be required to interact with vendors, contractors, and subcontractors, as well as construction workers.
- Must be able to demonstrate organizational leadership.
- Must be able to articulate your expertise and manage many fast-moving projects concurrently.
- Must be able to track and report on milestones, what milestones are at risk, and why.
- Excellent time management skills since construction projects must be completed within a given timeframe
- Excellent decision-making skills, as these enable the Regional Vice-President of Construction to make effective plans and decisions to avoid problems, as well as solve emerging ones
- Must have good project management skills, since the Regional Vice-President of Construction must understand the scope of the project and evaluate data to determine the needs of the project
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, and personable.
- Must reside in either Houston, TX or Albuguerque, NM
