Position Overview:
The Retail Sales Manager position is responsible for working with, managing and expanding our current relationships within major retail accounts. These include Lowe's, Home Depot, AutoZone, Advance, Costco, and others. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales management and retail account development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for growing business and a deep understanding of the retail landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners. Serve as the primary point of contact for all account-related activities.
- Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals. Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment on promotional campaigns, product launches, and merchandising strategies.
- Performance Monitoring: Track sales performance, analyze data, and prepare reports for senior management. Use insights to refine strategies and improve account performance.
- Training & Support: Provide training and support to retail staff on product features, benefits, and best practices to enhance customer engagement and drive sales.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to position EZRED’s products in the marketplace effectively.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing key retail accounts, with a successful track record of achieving sales targets
- 7 years of experience in sales management, preferably within the tools or retail consumer products sector.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in Netsuite and Salesforce is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $105,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
