What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patent Attorney Biotechnology position at F. D. R. Consulting?
Patent attorney with at least 4 years of patent preparation and prosecution experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, biological and chemical arts. Candidates must have a advanced degree in biology, molecular / cellular biology, immunology, genetics, medicinal chemistry / biochemistry or pharmacology.
Candidates should have experience representing biotech companies and investors in international patent portfolio development and life cycle management, IP due dilligence, non-infringement and invalidity, post-grant proceedings. Excellent communications skills and registered USPTO.
Qualifications :
A minimum of four (4 ) years of patent prosecution experience.
Qualified candidates will hold a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related discipline.
Prior pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus.
Must be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
