Job Responsibilities:
This is a full-time on-site role as a Billing Manager located in Miami, FL at FEAM AERO. The Billing Manager will be responsible for overseeing the billing process, invoicing, managing billing systems, and for leading and planning the billing operations in coordination with other functions in the Accounting & Finance Department, as well as other departments. The individual is responsible for implementing and enforcing policies and procedures, as well as streamlining billing processes across multiple stations. This position is highly visible and requires a consistent leader with the ability to coordinate, prioritize, plan, and direct the department.
Coordinate all Billing Services including, but not limited to:
- Reconcile customer billing sheets and keep track of flight data
- Reconcile payroll data
- Partner with the management team for day-to-day operations and services
- Work with external customers as needed to work through any discrepancies in billing
- Assist with additional tasks/projects as assigned
- Oversee and streamline billing processes
- Month-end closing of the billing group information
- Plan and implement quality assurance for all processes
- Personnel development; staff meetings
- Staffing discussions and planning/interviews; Team building
- Assist with the implementation of a new and/or improved billing system
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Administration or Engineering required
- Experience in the airline or aircraft maintenance industry desired
- Experience with Workday software preferred
- Previous billing experience (1 year)
- Knowledge of Accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to identify, understand and improve information flow and organizational workflows
- Excellent Analytical Skills for revenue cycle management
- Excellent Problem-Solving skills
- Strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate direct reports
- Advanced Excel Skills: formulas, pivot tables and data structure
- Proficient with basic business software such as Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Proven track record for driving process efficiency and solving problems
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and handle changing priorities
- Ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff
- Strong time management skills
- Able to work well with minimal supervision
