We need an IT System Administrator/Support Specialist to join our team.

Job Duties:
- Hardware and Software Support: Provide support to employees for their hardware and software needs, including laptops and related peripherals. This includes troubleshooting, maintenance, and assistance.
- Onboarding and Offboarding: Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, ensuring a smooth transition and adherence to IT security protocols. Create and maintain user guides, FAQs, and other documentation to support end-users. Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends, tools, and best practices to provide innovative solutions.
- Server and Network Infrastructure Maintenance: Perform patching, maintenance, backups, and monitoring for various Linux and Windows servers and other network infrastructure components. This is essential to maintain the stability and security of the organization's IT infrastructure.
- Security Management: Implement and manage security protocols aimed at safeguarding IT systems and data from cyber threats. This includes conducting regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within the network. In the event of security incidents or breaches, the professional will respond promptly, conducting thorough root cause analyses and implementing corrective actions to mitigate future risks and enhance the overall security posture of the organization.
- IT Asset Management: Responsible for managing both hardware and software assets, keeping track of inventory, licenses, and usage to ensure efficient resource allocation and compliance with licensing agreements.

You possess:
- 5 years' experience working in an IT system administration role supporting both Windows and Linux based operating systems including common networking technologies
- 2 years' experience in an IT support role supporting end users with computer and networking issues
- Solid understanding of Firewall, DNS, DHCP, VOIP, SMTP, HTTPS, TCP/IP protocols and technologies
- 2 years' experience in network security, general cybersecurity and countermeasures
- A proven ability to learn and master technology
- The capacity to solve complex challenges, within a defined framework and timeline
- Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills. You are a regular, clear, concise and professional communicator
- The ability to effectively use the entire MS Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams
- A knack for building solid relationships; people want to work with you
- Impeccable attention to detail and high standards for quality and creativity
- Solid time management skills: we don’t believe in micro-managing our people
