F&M Architects appreciates enduring architecture and lasting relationships. A full-service Architectural practice based Snowmass Village, Carbondale and Denver, Colorado. Flynn and Mike launched their firm in 2014. F&M specializes in high-end resort residential architecture including custom single family residences, historic restorations, multi-family residences and condominium remodels. F&M has provided healthcare design services since 2015 in both outpatient and inpatient facilities for regional hospitals in the Roaring Fork Valley. We have extensive experience in education, light commercial tenant improvements for restaurants, retail and offices, as well as religious spaces; and have also collaborated with out-of-state architects to help them navigate permit submittals, building requirements, detailing and construction administration on the front range and in the Rocky Mountains
Responsibilities:
- Interest in Residential, Commercial, Interior, Education, Civic, and/or Healthcare Architecture
- Collaborate with clients to determine project requirements and goals
- Develop and present design proposals, including sketches and renderings
- Create detailed architectural drawings using Revit
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project success
- Oversee construction progress and provide guidance as needed
- Conduct site visits to assess project feasibility and address any issues that arise
- Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure completion within established parameters
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in architectural technology
Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Project Architect
- Proficiency in architectural design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices
- Experience with construction estimating and budgeting
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proven track record of successful project delivery
