• Be responsible for all shifts’ production of the assigned department. Each shift will have assigned supervision.
• Supervise, coordinate, and prioritize activities of production personnel to meet customer, plant, and management requirements.
• Ensure effective use of manpower by studying production schedules and estimating worker hour requirements for job completion.
• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
Required Experience and Skills:
• Prior stamping experience with large press lines and blanker operations.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Capability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and handle abstract and concrete variables.
