About The Role

We are seeking a resourceful and driven Senior IT Support Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for a technically skilled professional with a proactive mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, and a track record of delivering end-to-end IT projects. You will work autonomously to manage and improve helpdesk operations, create robust documentation, and implement process improvements. You’ll be part of a team that values autonomy, continuous learning, and innovation. This is an opportunity to grow as a professional while making a meaningful impact on our IT operations and overall organizational efficiency.


Job Responsibilities


  • Technical Support: Act as a senior helpdesk technician, addressing complex issues and serving as an escalation point for technical problems.
  • System Administration: Maintain and manage IT systems, including O365, Slack, Kandji, ticketing systems, and automation tools.
  • Documentation: Develop and standardize IT processes, creating clear, actionable documentation to streamline team workflows.
  • Project Execution: Lead IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring all goals are met on time and within scope.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for efficiency and automation in IT operations, implementing solutions to enhance service delivery.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally, asking thoughtful clarifying questions to ensure a clear understanding of objectives and deliverables.


Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Helpdesk Technician or similar role.
  • Strong background in system administration and IT infrastructure management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and deliver projects from start to finish.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to ask thoughtful, clarifying questions to ensure thorough understanding.


Certifications

  • CompTIA A
  • ITIL Foundation


Technical Proficiencies

  • Ticketing Systems: Jira Service Management, Freshdesk, ServiceNow.
  • Project Management Tools: Monday, Asana.
  • Security and Compliance Tools: Vanta.
  • Office Productivity Tools: O365, Slack.
  • Operating Systems: MacOS, Windows 11, Windows servers.


Preferred Attributes

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall).
  • A proactive mindset, constantly looking for ways to improve processes and enhance efficiency.
