As the Assistant Controller, you will play a key role in overseeing and managing financial operations across the region. Your responsibilities will directly impact the company's financial integrity, ensuring accurate reporting, risk management, and financial planning. This is a pivotal role, ideal for someone with a strong background in finance, who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
The Assistant Controller will be responsible for :
- Controllership Duties : Oversee the month-end close process and ensure balance sheet account reconciliations are completed accurately and on time.
- Financial Planning & Analysis : Contribute to long-term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support the business's growth and strategic goals.
- Financial Reporting : Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, manage regulatory compliance, and communicate financial results to internal and external stakeholders.
- Risk Management : Identify, assess, and manage financial risks that could affect the organization. Implement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Treasury Management : Manage the 13-week cash flow forecast to maintain adequate liquidity across the region.
- Ad-Hoc Financial Analysis : Support the team on an as-needed basis with financial analysis to inform decision-making and strategy.
- Relationship Management : Collaborate with other departments, site managers, and financial institutions. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, helping both current team leadership and fostering future growth opportunities.
- Compliance & Governance : Ensure adherence to financial regulations, company policies, and maintain effective internal controls to protect the organization's financial integrity.
