Department Title: Undergrad Intern – US Investment Marketing

Location: The intern candidate must be able to commute into the San Mateo, CA, New York City, NY, or St. Petersburg, FL office each week.

Position Summary: 

Our team is responsible for developing marketing collateral targeted at financial advisors and their clients and supports our sales partners by creating tools to help in the sales process. We work with a variety of media including print, web, email, webcast, presentations, and video. We also promote and track our marketing content both internally and externally to ensure it is used.

Joining our team this summer will provide you with the opportunity to:

• Learn about the asset management industry including exposure to products (mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs, etc.), marketing campaigns and promotional activities
• Lead coordination efforts of our new PM video commentary program, using AI technology
• Support key focus-product marketing efforts by helping to develop marketing content such as flyers, web content, videos, social media content and more

• Are a mix of creative content generators and process-oriented project managers. Both skillsets are needed for success.

A US Investment Marketing Intern at Franklin Templeton can expect to learn:

• How US Investment Marketing develops content from the idea stage through delivery to end clients.
• How US Investment Marketing leverages AI technology across marketing projects, specifically with videos and content development
• How Franklin Templeton prioritizes marketing resources against multiple demands for new and existing content.
• How to collaborate with several internal teams to help develop content, ranging from sales, compliance, research, operations and more.
• How different audiences and market requirements influence content development.
• How to internally and externally promote marketing materials to sales, advisors and the public.

Key Responsibilities Can Include:

• Coordinating a PM video commentary program by leveraging HeyGen AI technology, partnering with studio team, compliance team and investment teams.
• Helping develop new / update existing campaigns and product marketing content.
• Researching potential process improvements for marketing operations.

Compensation Range: This is a full-time internship where students will work approximately 35-37.5 hours per week and earn competitive hourly pay of $24-$30 USD per hour.
