- The engineer is primarily expected to work during standard business hours.
- Core equipment maintenance may require after-hours work, while certain rooms will be serviced during daytime hours. Often working between room cleaning and new guest turning up
- No work is to be performed on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays, or during major holiday change freezes.
- All areas on site are locked and require granted access.
- The engineer must either receive a comprehensive site orientation to work independently or be escorted.
- Compliance with Nevada State Gaming requirements is mandatory.
- Prepare : Physically inspect the switch, verify access, back up the configuration, and understand any physical constraints before rebooting.
- Execute : Reboot the switch locally or remotely from one of the offices.
- Respond : Be ready to replace equipment immediately if necessary.
