Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support our client’s enterprise network environment. This role requires a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) and is ideal for a CCNA/CCNP-level engineer who excels in Cisco routing/switching and Palo Alto firewall technologies.
The engineer will be responsible for day-to-day network support, troubleshooting, and maintenance, as well as assisting with project-based activities and network improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily support and maintenance for enterprise-level network infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to routers, switches, and firewalls
- Support network monitoring and incident response processes
- Assist with the planning and execution of network upgrades and project tasks
- Document changes, configurations, and procedures following best practices
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors as needed
- 3 years of hands-on experience in network engineering roles
- Strong knowledge of Cisco routing and switching technologies
- Experience with Palo Alto firewalls in enterprise environments
- CCNA or CCNP certification preferred (or equivalent hands-on experience)
- Ability to work independently and respond to onsite needs as required
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Experience with network automation or monitoring tools
- Exposure to hybrid cloud networking (AWS, Azure, etc.)
