Onsite Network Engineer L1 / Admin
Start ASAP - 6 months with possible extension
Some travel required outside of CT for project support at other company locations.
Job Description :
- Network relevant certifications, such as Cisco Certified Network associate (CCNA)
- Knowledge of network protocols, including TCP / IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience with network hardware (routers, switches, and firewalls)
- Routing experience : Static and dynamic routing protocols, HSRP, IP SLA, BGP, IPsec
- Switching experience : L2 & L3 Vlans, VTP, HSRP, Nexus VPC, Port channel, STP, RSTP, PVST
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experienced in network devices rack installation and cable dressings
- Knowledge with network cables ( Copper, Fiber, Single mode, and multi-mode)
