What are the responsibilities and job description for the HazMat/Logistics Manager position at F3 Solutions?
Responsible for the performance of below HAZMAT and Logistics activities in Warehouse Environment at Stennis Space Center, MS.
Must be proficient and current in training to include safety, hazardous materials, hazardous waste, RCRA, hazardous waste operator (HAZWOPER) and spill response. Must have knowledge of and experience with major supply system functions to include: Receiving, Inventory, Quality Assurance/Control, Packaging/Marking, Staging, Shipping, etc.
Must have knowledge of/experience with Logistics computer application programs relating to requisition processing and related databases such as an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)/ Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) like Pentagon2000, PartsBase, ClearSpider, or IFS and/or databases like WebFLIS or FEDLOG.
Employee will perform the following tasks to manage a computerized HAZMAT tracking program to assess and analyze customer needs:
- Track procurement of all non-exempted HAZMAT
- Create and produce an Authorized User List (AUL) for each cost center assigned to work site.
- Produce master inventory record card tracking on all HAZMAT material.
- Produce bar code tracking information to ensure HAZARDOUS material is accounted for in accordance with Navy.
- Policy assistance
- Material accurately stowed and identified in designated hazmat lockers.
- Perform monthly HAZMAT locker inspections.
- Maintain an inventory of all Hazardous Material used at work site.
- Master Library of all Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
- Perform pre-operational maintenance checks and inspections on vehicles and forklift prior to operating loading, offloading, and staging of material and equipment.
- Complete written inspection reports and relay any required maintenance/repairs and report all hazardous spills immediately to the government supervisor.
Skills:
- Capable of working in a warehouse environment.
- Capable of working in an outside environment, exposed to heat, dust, inclement weather, primarily standing on hard surfaces for 8 – 10 hours in a workday.
- Frequent lifting, bending, kneeling, crouching, stooping, and walking are required.
- Computer Literacy: General Troubleshooting, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)

Experience and Education:
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate); 3 years verifiable work experience.
- HAZWOPER 40 Hour Certification
- HAZWOPER 8 Hour Refresher Certification
- OSHA forklift certification with Medical Examiner Cert OPNAV8020-2
