Shipping and Receiving

Fab-Tec is a machining and fabrication company with over 25 years of experience serving manufacturers and industrial clients throughout the U.S. We have an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team. The idea candidate will have previous experience in a machining and fabrication environment.

Responsibilities:

• Examine contents and compare with records, such as invoices or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment.
• Determine shipping methods for materials using proper shipping methods.
• Record shipment data, such as weight, damages, and discrepancies.
• Deliver or route materials to departments, using work devices, such as hand trucks, forklift or sorting bins.
• Pack, seal, label, and affix postage to prepare materials for shipping.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.
• Meets agreed upon goals and objectives in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Must be forklift certified
• Must have basic math skills.
• Must be able to take verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work well in a fast paced work environment to meet team expectations.
• Commitment to quality and accuracy of work performed.
• Must have a working knowledge of computers

Hours: 6am-4:30pm, M-Th, Friday's as needed

Pay: DOE
