Position Overview
The Inside Sales Representative position interacts primarily utilizing the phone and other forms of electronic communication to a broad scope of new and existing customers to increase the sales of products. The position offers the candidate the opportunity to learn more about the Construction industry, as well as the chance to become a more well-rounded, seasoned, sales professional.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
• Telephone and face-to-face contact with customers
• Computer entry sales orders and price/job quoting
• Keeping track of showroom inventory and replenishing stock
• Maintain showroom display of products
• Attend sales meetings, training, and activities
• In-depth product and customer knowledge
• Track open sales orders and process tickets to billing department
• Maintain cash drawer and process cash report
Qualifications
Experience and Skill Requirements
• 1-3 years sales experience
• Bilingual (English – Spanish) preferred
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
• Able to multitask in fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
• Proficient level of computer skills; MS Word, Excel, Outlook
• Decision making and problem resolution skills
• Should be honest, ethical, dedicated, dependable and approachable
• Should be a team player and have the ability to meet assigned tasks
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Must be detail-oriented
• Knowledge of Construction industry is a plus
Education Requirements
• High school diploma or GED/educational equivalent
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
