How you will drive the company forward:
- Identify and develop territory potential, delivering region financial commitment while establishing new customer relationships to achieve long term market share targets;
- Develop Fabcon as a customer of choice by building new and enhancing existing relationships within the Northeast region (further define?) Customer types include building owners and developers, design build contractors, general contractors, architects, engineers, and other subcontractors;
- Lead the end-to-end sales cycle through established company processes and systems to include preparing proposals, budgeting, pricing, and post-sale customer interactions;
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Scheduling, Project Management, Engineering, Estimating, Production & Field departments to drive optimal total job performance;
- Lead customer marketing events for existing and new customers; including, but not limited to face-to-face meetings, lunch-and-learns, plant tours and job site visits.
What you bring to the table:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Construction Engineering, Architecture or related field5 years of outside sales experience, ideally 2 in construction, building materials or similar field
- You love to travel, meet new people and visit construction and manufacturing sites, meet new people and be in front of customers (~50% travel/50% Work from Home)
- A strong belief that everything is negotiable!
- Your strong knowledge and experience in general civil engineering and construction industry practices
