Customer Service Rep/Sales Support-Industrial Products
Faber Industrial Technologies, a growing Industrial Distributor of Process Heat/Controls, Motion Controls, Factory Automation Products and Filtration products is seeking an Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative. This position will be responsible for the following:
Job Responsibilities
- Respond to customers phone calls, emails and RFQ's
- Provide sales support to Outside Sales team and Application engineering team
- Prepare quotations for Outside Sales, with either direct or indirect client interaction
- Answer incoming calls and emails from customers and prospects
- Utilize our CRM and ERP business systems while interacting with clients
- Expedite deliveries and determine status of open sales orders
- Process return authorizations as appropriate and work with the salesperson and purchasing person to arrange the proper disposition of returned goods.
- Make product recommendations and do product research to solve customer needs
- Qualify sales leads as assigned
- Utilize CRM to record customer interactions
Secondary Duties
- Assist Purchasing Department when required
- Perform Invoicing
- Follow up on open quotes and back orders
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
- A positive, customer first attitude; going above and beyond to satisfy each customer in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a pleasing phone manner
- Strong computer skills, with experience using Microsoft Office. Strong user of Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe.
- Detail oriented with acute listening skills
- Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize in a busy environment with frequent interruptions
- A mechanical or electrical technical aptitude is a plus
