Fabhar Corporation, near McKinney, TX, is looking to hire a Structural Steel Estimator to work within our fabrication division in quoting projects and manage the job. Working knowledge of CAD drawing or 3D modeling (Required), Detailing Experience is a plus, Working knowledge of Excel, Ability to read blueprints (Required). Thorough knowledge of structural, ornamental, composites, aluminum and manufacturing steel estimating procedures. Knowledge of manufacture and erection of steel members (columns, beams, braces, trusses, stairs, handrails, joists, metal decking, etc.) and non-building structures. Must be able to manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed, and stored for job info, drawings, and submittals.
$100,000 annual salary with bonus opportunity; Pay is based on experience.

Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years as an structural steel estimator - PLEASE ... DO NOT APPLY if you are NOT knowledgeable in Structural Steel.
- Outstanding mathematics and IT abilities.
- Proficient in relevant software including MS Office Suite.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Collect different quotes from subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
- Analyze company data, monitor budgets and prices using software packages.
- Review and assess cost estimates.
- Identify labor, material, costs, and time requirements by researching proposals, blueprints, and any related documents.
- Ability to Perform any Required Duties as a team member.
