Job Summary:

This position is responsible for the achievement of parts volume objectives, maintaining and recommending changes or new parts policies, and administering various parts programs for the branch or branches with in the region. Creating a strong safety culture in the department and branch and achieving customer loyalty metrics for the company, as well as supporting the companies Prime Product and Power Systems Sales and Service objectives. This position may involve overseeing parts for more than one location. In addition, this person is responsible for planning, directing, and controlling all activities of the branch parts operations and the distribution, delivery of parts to the customers in the region according to corporate policies and practices. This position must also work closely with the Product Support Sales Department and the PSSR's in the region as well as the Prime Product Sales and Service Department and Power Systems and their staff.

Responsibilities:

• Primary focus is to achieve the Parts Sales, GP and PAD at budgeted levels and achievement of POPS targets that are in accordance with corporate objectives. Delivery of parts from the Region Branch or branches to external and internal customers, maintaining Employee Safety, Customer loyalty. Provide appropriate customer response times to provide parts identification, delivery of parts to customers, maintain appropriate warehouse operations to protect, store and delivery of all parts inventoried.
• Directly supervises, leads and manages Parts Counter Supervisors, Warehouse Supervisors, Parts Counter and other office staff employees.
• Create and support a safety culture throughout the parts department as well as throughout the branch area.
• Maintain cost control. Submits an annual budget to the direct manager and the VP of Product Support for approval as directed. The Parts Departments are operated within their approved budget by year end. Receives approval on capital purchases from the direct manager and Vice President of Product Support before proceeding with purchase.
• Build and maintain a work environment characterized by high productivity and morale. Directly supervise parts counter and parts office staff employees and Parts Counter Supervisors and Parts Warehouse Supervisor. Provide appropriate training to all staff members in the completion of their individual job roles and responsibilities. Solve problems and improve processes within parts department.
• Proactively work with parts counter personnel, PSSR's and others to increase customer satisfaction. Aid other departments at the company with any issues pertaining to the parts department.
• Participate in monthly communication meetings in each functional area as appropriate.
• Update and maintain accurate customer machine serial number detail.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in business or related field is preferred.
• Three to five years parts management or parts sales experience is required.
• One to three years in a leadership capacity directing and leading supervisors/managers is required.
• Previous management experience leading and directing multiple store locations is preferred.
• Candidate must be highly motivated and possess a personality capable of working and managing in a fast paced work environment.
• Must have strong ability to lead a team especially through change, strong change management skills, high level of interpersonal skills, great attention to detail in composing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent spelling, grammar and written/verbal communication skills.
• Strong technical skills, people skills and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in the software applications of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, dealer CRM, dealer business system and dealer email system applications.
