Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our team at Fabricators Unlimited. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial data related to our countertop fabrication processes, ensuring accurate reporting and analysis to support our business operations. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining our commitment to quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze cost reports to provide insights into production costs.
- Conduct cash flow analysis to ensure financial stability and support decision-making.
- Perform general ledger reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist with budgeting processes by providing relevant cost data.
- Compile financial reports that summarize operational performance and project costs.
- Support payroll processing by ensuring accurate cost allocation for labor expenses.
- Work with and answer directly to Ownership and Branch Managers with but not limited to identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Proven experience in cost accounting or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial report writing.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and cash flow analysis techniques.
