Position Overview :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Controller to oversee the accounting operations of our company. The Controller will be responsible for producing accurate and timely financial reports, maintaining robust accounting records, and implementing systems and controls to enhance the company’s financial health. This position plays a key role in supporting the management team with valuable financial insights and ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Key Responsibilities :
The Controller is accountable for :
- Prepare, review, and ensure the accuracy and completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, sales tickets, and general ledger functions.
- Manage and mentor accounting and office staff to foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Ensure financial statements comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and meet reporting deadlines.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights and actionable recommendations to senior management.
- Coordinate and manage annual audits, tax filings, and compliance activities.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare forecasts to ensure the organization’s financial stability.
- Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting, financial planning, and operational decision-making.
- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and standards to ensure compliance.
