Summary :
Meta seeks an Associate General Counsel who is interested in technology and its potential for positively impacting peoples’ lives to join as a product counsel on Meta’s Content, Safety, and Integrity Legal team. This role will focus on supporting product and policy work related to the company’s integrity priorities. It will require significant cross-functional collaboration with product, engineering, policy, operations, and business teams, as well as other legal subject matter experts. This is an opportunity to work on novel issues in an exciting environment, as we build and scale for our global community. This role can be based in several US locations.

Associate General Counsel, Product Responsibilities :
- Serve as primary legal partner for several product and policy teams working on integrity and safety issues for several priority product areas, such as Generative AI.
- Lead consensus building across legal and coordinate legal advice across complex and multifaceted legal issues such as data protection and privacy, intermediary liability, consumer protection, security, and other global legal frameworks.
- Review global products, features, platforms and initiatives to provide practical legal risk mitigation strategies for products across multiple jurisdictions.
- Coordinate with public policy, communications, product management, engineering, product marketing, trust and safety, and other cross-functional teams on external communications, policy development, and product development and launches.
