Meta seeks a product attorney with an understanding of the payments landscape to join our Monetization Legal Team. You will be supporting product teams that are working on our most relevant cross-Meta payments products and services. This role will require significant cross-functional collaboration with product, partnerships, engineering, policy, operations, and business teams, as well as other legal and compliance subject-matter experts, as you help shape the future of payment products worldwide. Lead Counsel, Payments - Monetization Legal Responsibilities :
- Review new products, features and initiatives across multiple jurisdictions by assessing payment-related legal risks while providing practical legal advice to product, business and legal stakeholders across Meta.
- Provide legal advice to help develop a comprehensive, long-term approach to launching payment products and programs globally.
- Administration and resolution of legal issues and risks that arise in existing and new payment products by developing strategies and driving leadership alignment.
- Maintain experience in payments and evaluate the impact of relevant laws and regulations on Meta’s payments products.
- Demonstrate business judgment and client counseling skills.
