Supply Chain Project Manager - New York, NY
Job Summary:
Meta's Hardware Program Management Team is looking for Supply Chain Project Manager to drive global supply chain, logistics, budget, procurement, and configuration management activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Partner with Hardware project team and engineering in driving hardware product development milestones
- Work with engineering leaders & Contract manufactures to manage day-to-day build activities, document & communicate local build progress
- Budget management, work with Finance to plan, forecast, and approve budget proposals, ensuring to track and manage spend
- Communicate with vendors regarding PO/invoice, material requirement, and delivery schedule.
- Review Build Matrix and Clear-To-Build (CTB) reports, resolve material shortage issues and follow up with GSM, TPM, and Engineering teams
- Coordinate with Product Life Management (PLM) team and Hardware Engineering for Bill of Materials (BOMs), part numbers, and release design and drawings documentation.
- Attend conference calls with our Asia-based engineering teams and manufacturing partners
- Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and Manufacturer Change Orders (MCO)
- Manage prototype hardware inventory and internal device distribution
Qualifications:
- 4 years' experience in Supply Chain Project Management, Engineering Project Management, or similar positions
- Project experience overseeing Hardware product development and/or electronic product engineering builds for consumer electronics or similar electronic hardware products
- Budget Management experience working with finance to plan, forecast, allocate, and track project budgets
- Experience Managing Build Matrix by working with Engineering, TPMs and PLM team to complete design releases and CTB (Clear-To-Build) tracking.
- Experience with BOMs (Bill of Materials) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
- Experience in procurement, and/or purchasing, creating/managing Purchase Orders (PO's)
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills across time-zones and management of shifting priorities.
Plusses (Not Required)
- Logistics experience or understand the requirements for international shipments
- BS in engineering, science, physics, or equivalent experience are preferred.
Salary : $55 - $60
