Fire Sprinkler Fitter(1+ YRS EXP)

FCS FIRE PROTECTION is currently seeking a licensed Fire Sprinkler Inspector to perform inspections, testing, and maintenance/repairs on wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems in accordance with NFPA and local guidelines. Our inspectors will conduct preventative maintenance inspections, document inspections on approved NFPA inspection forms, capture photographs, and other misc. items. Knowledge of fire pumps, back-flows, gate valves, and standpipes are required. The Fire Sprinkler Inspector must have knowledge to perform onsite repairs or other tasks in the event of emergency. Fire Sprinkler Inspectors will play a lead role with customer interfacing for the company; the role of supporting customer satisfaction is an essential component to the success in this position. Low voltage technicians are welcome and training will be provided.

Job Requirements

• Must possess an active F-2 sprinkler license.
• Minimum of 3 yrs. experience with fire sprinkler inspection and troubleshooting
• Must have a functional knowledge and understanding of wet and dry sprinkler systems.
• Self-motivated with little or no supervision required
• Must have excellent communication and documentation skills to work with customers and internal staff.
• Knowledge of various types of fire alarm systems
• Must possess excellent customer service skills
• Ability to complete fire system reviews and identify code compliance issues
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
