Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming floors.
- Conduct industrial and commercial cleaning of facilities to maintain high standards of hygiene.
- Carry out residential painting and minor repairs as needed to enhance the appearance of the premises.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and sanitizing surfaces.
- Execute facilities maintenance tasks to ensure all equipment is operational and safe.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies to maintain a clean environment.
- Assist with the movement of furniture or equipment as required during events or maintenance activities.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred, with a focus on industrial and commercial cleaning environments.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and maintenance is highly desirable.
- Experience in facilities maintenance or porter services will be considered an asset.
- A strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
