Job Description
TITLE: Facility Services Accounts Payable
REPORTS TO: Facility Services Officer
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
PAY GRADE: 66
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma required and at least 5 years of experience in bookkeeping
- Working knowledge of purchasing, contracts, and bidding considered a benefit.
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral forms.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with leadership, Facility Services staff, vendors, administrators and colleagues.
- Ability to develop and compile a variety of records and reports using Google Docs, Google Sheets, Microsoft Word, Excel Spreadsheets, and LINQ.
- Ability to interact with all leadership within the department as budgets are planned, implemented, and modified throughout the fiscal year.
- Maintain accurate and organized records and accounts.
- Ability to maintain large scale budgets and accounts.
- Analyze invoices and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy
- Performs data entry for check preparation -
- Verify accounts payable data entry reports for accuracy.
- Communicates with school system staff and vendors concerning accounts payable items as required to effectively clear outstanding financial obligations.
- Assist with vendor statement reconciliations.
- Assist with open purchase order analysis.
JOB GOAL: To effectively manage all financial bookkeeping within Facility Services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain all accounts of the facility services annual budget
Inform all leadership of Facility Services of budgets.
Perform other duties as required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to assist with meeting set-ups.
Must be able to move files and boxes.
