Energy Auditor Job Description
As an Energy Auditor, you will travel to perform site lighting/electrical audits for customers in New Jersey. This can include hospitals, schools, commercial buildings, restaurants, hotels, warehouses, and industrial facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform site audits following scope requirements.
- Identify the required existing equipment (lighting, electrical, and/or mechanical).
- Prepare detailed audit reports.
- Coordinate travel to conduct site audits outside New Jersey.
- Meet on-site with customers.
- Manage expenses during business travel.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED or college degree in a related field.
- 3 years experience and/or lighting and electrical industry training.
- Experience with auditing software preferred (SnapCount, Ecoinsight, etc.).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- Able to read plans and perform take-offs.
- Knowledge of lighting systems controls is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask while staying organized.
- Self-directed and Motivated.
- Ability to work off-hours to perform job duties.
- Must be a TEAM PLAYER.
