At Facility Solutions Group, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Energy Auditor to join our team. As an Energy Auditor, you will play a critical role in conducting site lighting/electrical audits for our clients in New Jersey.
About the Job
This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to travel 20% of the time. You will work closely with our clients to identify areas of improvement and provide recommendations to enhance energy efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough site audits to assess lighting and electrical systems.
- Identify existing equipment and prepare detailed audit reports.
- Coordinate travel to conduct site audits outside of New Jersey.
- Meet with clients to discuss findings and recommendations.
- Manage expenses during business travel.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
- 3 years of experience in the lighting and electrical industry or related field.
- Experience with auditing software (e.g. SnapCount, EcoInsight) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- Able to read plans and perform take-offs.
- Knowledge of lighting systems controls is a plus.
