Description
Warehouse Worker Description:
The warehouse worker receives, stores and distributes material, tools, equipment and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.
Warehouse Worker Tasks:
- Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies and adjust errors.
- Receive, store, move and pack outgoing materials, equipment, and other items from warehouse.
- Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles.
- Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Perform other duties assigned by the warehouse lead or supervisor.
Qualifications
Warehouse Workers Qualifications:
- At minimum a high school diploma or equivalent GED
- Valid Driver's License
- At least 21 yrs old
- Able to work in non air-conditioned warehouse
- Ability to lift materials, bend, twist and stoop
- Ability to operate machinery such as an order picker or forklift
