Copywriter — You’re a word wizard who can write everything from superbowl spots to snappy social one-liners. Culture isn’t just something you know about —it’s where you live, go down a rabbit hole, and find your best ideas. You’re all about connecting brands to what people actually care about (because nobody needs another forgettable ad, right?). Ultimately, you love to find a kernel of insight that becomes an idea, get in the weeds with your team, and build the damn thing together.
Can do this
Concept and write across multiple mediums, from social and digital to brand and print
Consistently deliver attention-worthy content ideas
Be the expert and internal advocate for tone, voice and personality of our client’s brands
Ensure the quality and consistency of copy leaving our doors
Collaborate with creative counterparts to concept, but also be happy to actualize ideas and just write
Shepherd ideas through completion working with the creative team and production bring ideas to life
Craft (and lead) compelling and strategic presentations to sell ideas internally and to clients
Think big picture while being able to solve down to the small details
Be fluent in current and emerging trends and up-to-date on industry trends and done-befores
Find the truth that takes the work from good to great
Take and give constructive criticism
Deliver work on-time and on-brand, even when there are multiple projects on your plate
Approach all challenges with heart. No challenge too big. No project too small.
Must haves
3 years’ experience
Killer writing chops, a diverse portfolio and a passion for storytelling
High standards and taste level while also being meticulous about your craft (grammar, proofreading, etc.)
Ability to speak to conceptual or copy decisions thoughtfully and with conviction
Solid presentation skills, both internally and client-facing
Collaborative nature, but ability to work independently and meet deadlines without handholding
Ability to share and articulate in-progress work with managers and team
An appreciation for the relationship between textual and visual elements (and great design in general)
Positivity and proactive problem-solving aptitude and “give a damn”
A high degree of drive and accountability
