SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE OR SUPERVISOR, BEAUTY – New York City
Factory PR seeks a Senior Account Executive to Account Supervisor to join its Beauty Division. The candidate should be an avid consumer of media and popular culture, have a deep affinity for and understanding of beauty, wellness and business and have experience working with celebrity talent and brand founders.
The position calls for an expert press strategist and relationship builder that reports to the SVP, Beauty and Wellness. This candidate will help supervise, develop, and mentor a dynamic team.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide client interface and counsel across beauty accounts
- Support in the development and execution of communications strategies for national and global brands
- Write and produce high-impact press materials including press kits, releases and pitches
- Maintain and expand relationships with beauty, sustainability, wellness, entertainment and business editors
- Coordinate and staff press interviews with clients; prepare or oversee preparation of briefing documents, provide media interview prep to clients as needed
- Secure high-level brand features and product placements in top national, regional and online media outlets
- Create, maintain and manage the timely distribution of editorial reports and briefing documents
- Manage calendar of recognition lists and awards and spearhead application processes, as needed
- Execute press events for clients with the support of external production teams, when needed
- Effectively manage a dynamic team, and act as a strong mentor and guide
