JOB OVERVIEW
Faena New York is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The Marketing Coordinator is full-time, on-property, in-person position. As a member of the pre-opening Marketing Team for Faena New York, the primary responsibility will be to assist the Sales and Marketing team in successfully launching Faena New York on a Sales and Marketing level, establish a strong presence and visibility in the pre-opening and opening phase of the hotel, while laying the ground-work for a smooth operation beyond the opening phase.
The Marketing Coordinator will provide essential support to the Senior Marketing Manager while collaborating closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the luxury hospitality industry and have a creative mindset to assist in executing marketing strategies, campaigns, and initiatives that align with the Faena’s vision and objectives.
This position has an annual compensation rate of $75,000.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support Marketing Campaigns: Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, both online and offline, that promote Faena New York luxury offerings, events, and brand identity
- Content Creation & Management: Work with the Senior Marketing Manager to curate content for digital platforms (website, social media, email marketing), ensuring that all messaging aligns with the brand’s tone and values
- Event Coordination: Support marketing efforts for hotel events, from conceptualization to execution, including working with external vendors, partners, and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery
- Market Research & Analysis: Assist with tracking and analyzing the performance of marketing campaigns and customer engagement, providing valuable insights to optimize future initiatives
- Collateral & Communications: Help design and produce marketing collateral, including brochures, newsletters, and digital assets. Ensure consistent brand messaging across all communications
- Collaborate Across Departments: Work cross-functionally with Sales, PR, Operations, and other departments to ensure marketing materials are up to date, campaigns are integrated, and all brand touchpoints align with the overall strategy
- Vendor & Partner Relations: Assist in managing relationships with external agencies, media outlets, and event partners to ensure maximum exposure for Faena New York
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the Senior Marketing Manager and Director of Sales and Marketing, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining marketing budgets
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of marketing experience, preferably in the luxury hospitality or lifestyle sector
- Experience with event coordination and social media marketing is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, email platforms, CMS systems)
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) is a plus
- Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Creative thinker with a passion for luxury hospitality and brand storytelling
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across departments
