Fagron is seeking a highly organized Accounts Payable Manager to join our finance team, based out of the office in Austin, TX. In this role, you will lead a team of Accounts Payable specialists that support different Fagron entities across the US. This position will be responsible for improving and maintaining A/P balances and processes for all Fagron US companies. You will also provide regular management updates and analysis.

About The Job
Fagron is seeking a highly organized Accounts Payable Manager to join our finance team, based out of the office in Austin, TX. In this role, you will lead a team of Accounts Payable specialists that support different Fagron entities across the US. This position will be responsible for improving and maintaining A/P balances and processes for all Fagron US companies. You will also provide regular management updates and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily contact with A/P specialists and frequent follow-up on more difficult items
- Oversee and support daily processing of incoming invoices, bank transactions and credit notes to ensure cash reconciliation
- Oversee and support weekly payment runs
- Ensure proper approval is received and documented for all outgoing payments
- Tracking and reconciliation of all capital projects including specific reporting requirements for large capital projects
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and other accounting functions related to A/P
- Prepare reports and projections based on detailed analysis
- Coordinate with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts
- Contribute to the elaboration and processing of the balance sheets and financial overviews
- Make proposals for the optimization of the A/P processes with the aim of guaranteeing the efficient operation of the department
- Understand key business unit operating metrics/drivers and measure performance to established metrics
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree Required in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- 5 years of management experience
- 10 years of A/P experience
- Strong problem solving and application skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel
- High degree of accuracy, efficiency and confidentiality
- Effective organizational, stress and time management skills
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with little oversight
