Description
Performs the full range of professional duties required to support human resources administration, including the performance of complex and/or sensitive activities; conducts position classification reviews ranging from complex to routine; collects data and prepares occupational and organizational analysis reports, class specifications, and related position classification documentation; guides and assists program managers on organizational development and classification processes; and may manage a human resources large-scale, long-term project.
Qualifications
Required
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.
- Four (4) years of experience in human resources or related specialty, two (2) years of which shall have been in classification and compensation.
- Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
- Knowledge of the theory, procedures, and practices of one or more of the fields of human resources.
- Knowledge of FCPS policies and regulations and local, state, and federal laws that relate to the assigned office.
- Familiarity with the principles and methods of public human resources administration and educational institution organization.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
