Description
Plans, manages, develops, and coordinates a wide variety of intermediate and complex large scale projects and project teams with a cross-functional focus in an effort to enhance and promote a multitude of employee retirement and/ or pension benefit plan activities including operations, implementations, documentation, initiatives and offerings; provides leadership and guidance in support of operational activities to ensure smooth delivery of program solutions and services; may plan, manage and coordinate a range of programs and related activities for the assigned office.
Qualifications
Required
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field.
- Five (5) years of experience in retirement and/or pension benefits administration, one (1) year of which shall have been in project or program management involving the execution of complex enterprise-wide benefits projects.
- Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
- Knowledge related to benefit administration, benefit plan operations and primary functions, related technological applications, and best practices.
- Understanding of project management skills and can prioritize workload and multiple deliverables.
- Ability to successfully manage large-scale complex projects through to on-time completion.
- Facilitation and leadership skills and the ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and the ability to make effective business decisions and implement solutions.
- Skill in using project management technologies.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Vendor procurement and implementation experience.
- Employee benefit communications experience.
- Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) certification.
