Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Principal at Fairfield Christian School (K-8), located in Fairfield, CA. The Principal will oversee daily school operations, including academic curriculum implementation, faculty and staff leadership, student safety and welfare stewardship, as well as oversight of IT, business, and facility management. Primary responsibilities include fostering a positive, Christian educational environment, engaging with parents and the community, and maintaining compliance with educational standards and practices.
Ideal Qualifications
- Leadership and management skills, including team building and staff development
- Broad and flexible technological proficiency for software and media systems
- Experience in curriculum development, educational assessment, and program evaluation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with students, parents, and staff
- Knowledge of educational standards, regulations, and best practices in K-8 education
- Commitment to maintaining a biblically based, family-centered educational philosophy
- Master’s degree in Education Administration, Educational Leadership, or a related field
- Minimum of five years of educational experience, with at least three years in an administrative role
- Experience in Christian education is a plus, but not required
*Note, administrative contracts run from July 1st through June 30th annually. This position needs to be filled by July 1st 2025, though integration can begin part-time in the 25/26 school year to prepare a successful launch of the 26/27 school year with staff, families, students, and operational orientation.
