Position Description: The Parent Education and Early Intervention (EI) Contract Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating parent education classes while managing the Early Intervention Program in Fairfield County. This position ensures families in the community receive access to both high-quality early intervention services and parent education classes for all ages. This role involves managing the development and delivery of parent education programs, overseeing the Early Intervention contract, and collaborating with community partners and parent education facilitators to ensure the effective implementation of services. This position ensures that the EI program is compliant with all state and federal regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Assure Early compliance with all applicable Federal Part C and state Help Me Grow (HMG) Early Intervention (EI) policies.
- Assure that contracted agencies carrying out HMG program components are compliant with all applicable Federal Part C and state HMG EI policies.
- Provide Reflective Supervision, training and evaluation to the HMG EI program staff.
- Comply with Department of Children and Youth (DCY) reporting requirements including full implementation of the HMG Early Intervention Data System (EIDS).
- Assure compliance with the HMG EI Monitoring Review.
- Assure maintenance or records that demonstrate local HMG EI services are provided by credentialed staff.
- Review HMG EI files to ensure compliance with Ohio Revised Code (ORC).
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with the local Preschool Coordinators to ensure smooth transitions from The HMG EI program to Preschool.
- Facilitate Early Intervention meetings and/or training for community members, partners, and staff, as needed.
- Ensure quality assurance for all HMG EI components.
- Facilitate and nurture system-wide collaboration.
- Conducts intakes for all families referred to parental education and ensure all pre and post surveys are completed.
- Orders supplies, including books for all classes and ensures the facilitators have all materials needed.
- Promotes and markets the Parent Education programs in multiple ways, including the creation of the telelog and resource calendar.
- Facilitates the Parent Cooperative Meetings.
- All other tasks assigned by the Manager.
- BS Degree in Social Work, Early Childhood Development, Education, or related field
- Experience working with Early Childhood community and/or Help Me Grow system(s)
- Ability to work with diverse groups of people
- Valid Operator's License
- Computer and internet literate.
- In consultation with the Council Manager, ability to manage financial resources, required reporting and grant requirements
