Fire Alarm Technician

We are looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join our growing family. We need someone who can maintain themselves, work independently and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, and configure fire alarm systems
• Test and repair systems, including batteries and wiring
• Ensure systems comply with electrical and fire codes
• Explain how systems work to customers
• Respond to emergency service calls
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace
• Complete detailed inspection reports
• Coordinate with clients to ensure systems are installed and working properly

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems at least 2 years
• Knowledge of local, state, and national fire safety codes and regulations
• State certification in Fire Alarm & Detection Equipment or equivalent
• Driver License and no DUI on driving recorder (Insurance Purposes)

Work environment

• May involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises
• May involve handling of average-weight objects up to 10 pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
