Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Help clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety while lifting or moving them as required.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of care provided to each client.
- Assist in administering medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans.
- Ensure a clean and safe home environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in senior care or home community care is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of basic patient care practices, including vital signs monitoring and medical documentation.
- Ability to lift and assist clients safely while adhering to proper lifting techniques.
