Hotel Maintenance

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various maintenance tasks. This role involves ensuring that all facilities and equipment are maintained in optimal condition, providing excellent customer service, and supporting leadership in supervising maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
• Interpret and work from schematics to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist with residential painting projects as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant or client concerns promptly.
• Supervise maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Utilize logic controllers for automated systems maintenance when applicable.
• Document all maintenance activities and report on the status of repairs.

Experience

• Proven experience in a maintenance role with a strong mechanical background.
• Familiarity with schematics and the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
• Previous supervisory experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Knowledge of residential painting techniques is beneficial.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Weekends as needed
