Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the hotel facilities are in optimal condition.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Utilize CMMS for tracking work orders and managing maintenance schedules efficiently.
- Interpret schematics and blueprints to assist with repairs and installations.
- Conduct inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.
- Assist in fabricating or welding components as needed for repairs or upgrades.
- Maintain mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall hotel operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field within the hospitality industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance management is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Ability to read schematics and technical documents accurately.
- Basic welding or fabrication skills are a plus but not required.
- Proficient in English for effective communication within the team and with guests.
