Fairfield Duluth Waterfront located on Park Point is seeking a weekend Night Auditor. Shifts 11pm to 7am, 2 shifts per week. This is a Part time position with 16 hours per week. Previous hotel experience is a plus. As a key position of responsibility the night auditor is the manager on duty. Working independently at night you will be providing great customer service, maintaining operations and security for the hotel, and preparing and opening breakfast for our guests.

The primary responsibility of our Night Audit/Guest Service Representative is to reconcile and balance all accounts for the hotel on a daily basis, as well as to deliver excellent customer service while interacting with guests during the check-in and check-out procedure
The essential functions of the Night Audit/Guest Service Representative position include:
- Assume the position of the Manager on Duty
- Update all files and reset the system for the following day activity
- Welcome guest to the hotel and perform the check-in process
- Thank guests and perform the check-out process
- Answer all incoming and in-house phone calls
- Assist callers with making and/or changing reservations
- Assist all guests as necessary to ensure a positive experience
- Perform routine daily tasks such as opening breakfast and maintaining laundry operations
- Ability to work while standing for extended periods of time.
Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Great attention to detail
- Thorough organizational skills, proficient in accomplishing all tasks
- Considerable knowledge of computer systems for registration, reservations and backup systems
- Above average mathematical comprehension to understand and interpret numbers as they apply to operations in hotels
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with employees and guests
- Ability to effectively interact with internal and external customers, some of whom will require a high level of patience, tact and diplomacy, to defuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts
Education/Experience
- Comparable hotel size and scope of experience preferred
