Job Title: Hotel Breakfast Attendant
Department: Food & Beverage / Hospitality
Reports To: Hotel Manager or Food & Beverage Supervisor
Job Summary:
The Hotel Breakfast Attendant is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and breaking down the breakfast buffet or continental breakfast service. They ensure a clean and welcoming dining environment for guests while providing excellent customer service. The role involves preparing light food items, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in the breakfast area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set Up & Maintenance:
- Prepare and arrange breakfast items, including food, beverages, and utensils.
- Ensure all food items are fresh, stocked, and properly presented.
- Monitor food temperatures and replenish items as needed.
- Guest Service:
- Greet guests warmly and provide assistance with breakfast selections.
- Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
- Maintain a positive and helpful attitude to enhance the guest experience.
- Cleanliness & Sanitation:
- Keep the breakfast area clean, including tables, counters, floors, and serving stations.
- Follow food safety guidelines, including proper handling and storage.
- Dispose of waste properly and restock necessary supplies.
- Closing & Restocking:
- Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and serving stations after breakfast service.
- Store unused food properly and prepare for the next day’s service.
- Inform management of any supply shortages or maintenance issues.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or customer service is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines (ServSafe certification is required).
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move up to 25 lbs.
Work Environment:
- Indoor hotel dining area or buffet station.
- Requires early morning shifts, typically starting before 6 AM.
- May involve working under pressure during peak breakfast hours.

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
