What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Worker position at Fairfield Inn & Suites?
- Simple/regular upkeep and maintenance to maintain hotel facilities.
- May involve painting, cleaning, moving of furniture, etc.
- Ability to read and understand test equipment, measuring devices, and safetymanuals.
- Preform maintenance activities in the guest room like plunging toilets, unclogging drains, repairing all types of hardware, electrical equipment including lamps, air conditioners / HVACand AC ducts.
- Perform maintenance activities in hotel public areaslike plunging toilets, unclogging drains, repairing all types of hardware, plumbing and electrical equipment and cosmetic items.
- Program TV's and perform general housekeepingand engineering-related inventoryduties.
- Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipment.
- To clean, lubricate, protect, and otherwise maintain all tools and equipment in the hotel.
- Ability to interpret readings from meters & gauges and other measuring units.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
