Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance, with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems. This role requires the ability to read and interpret schematics, troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary repairs to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. The Maintenance Person will also be responsible for supervising maintenance activities and leading a small team when required.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues effectively.
- Fabricate parts as needed to support maintenance operations.
- Maintain and troubleshoot logic controllers to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential issues.
- Supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and leadership as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings.
- Experience with logic controllers is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot various equipment types.
- Leadership experience is preferred, particularly in supervising teams or projects.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills are essential.
